Installation Information

Fiddler 2 has replaced Fiddler 1.x. Fiddler 2 supports debugging HTTPS traffic, a richer extensibility model, and can by installed side-by-side with Fiddler 1.x if desired. Note that Fiddler 2 requires version 2.0 of the .NET Framework.

Fiddler 1.x, for .NET Framework version 1.1 users

Note: Fiddler 1.3 has been superseded by Fiddler 2.1.  The new version contains all of the features of Fiddler 1.3, and adds support for HTTPS traffic monitoring/modification, more powerful extensions, and improved performance.

If you have the .NET Framework version 2.0 or later installed, you should probably install Fiddler 2.x instead.
